Raise the Age: A Short Film

Raise the Age is a short 8-minute film on the impacts of charging young people as adults. This film makes the case for raising the age of juvenile jurisdictions in North Carolina to 18 years of age.

Raise the Age includes interviews with law enforcement officials, former state representatives, professors, and impacted youth and their families. It is a great resource for gathering a community to discuss the #RaiseTheAgeNC campaign and mobilize youth around the issue.
